Harry Potter fans, you’ve been waiting. HBO has launched a casting call for children to play the lead roles in the series set in the cinematic universe, Deadline reports.
“We are committed to inclusive and diverse casting. Please submit qualified artists for each role,” the announcement read.
Meanwhile, the choice will be among children aged nine to eleven. The studio plans to end the positions of Harry, Ron and Hermione by April 2025.
Let us remind you that plans to shoot a series based on Harry Potter are known in the spring of 2023. The project has already recruited a showrunner and director. The author of books about the wizard JK Rowling praised the script of the pilot version.
