HBO has released a trailer for an interesting new documentary film titled Wild wild spaceThe documentary focuses on the intense rivalry between two visionaries and founders of competing rocket companies, Chris Kemp and Peter Beck.
The synopsis reads: “Their mission transcends simple competition: it’s a strategic attempt to outdo each other, disrupt Elon Musk’s cosmic dominance, and stake a significant stake in the burgeoning space industry.
“Through triumphs and challenges, Kemp and Beck usher in a new era of space exploration in low-Earth orbit and beyond.
“The stakes are rising as they race against time to deliver commercial satellites for prestigious customers, including Planet Labs, led by visionary Will Marshall, who embodies their shared goal: redefining space, one satellite launch at a time.”
It explains: “Less than a hundred miles above our heads lies some of the most valuable real estate in the universe: low-Earth orbit. This is an extraterrestrial land grab, a galactic Wild West where the cowboys are visionaries, inventors, and capitalists hell-bent on owning the future.”
“From spaceports at the edges of the Earth to local communities being transformed and disrupted by these technologies, Wild wild space pushes the audience into this critical and unknown world.”
Wild wild space is directed by Ross Kauffmanand the film is currently available on HBO.
