New Details Shared for Tom Hardy’s Sci-Fi Comics Project ARCBOUND

My Friend Tom Hardy is working on his first comic book project, and on the series entitled Bow tiedwhich is developing with Batman writer Written by Scott Snyder AND Frank Tieriwith the art of Ryan Little and colors of Frank William.

Deadline has confirmed that the series will be published by Dark Horse and that Hardy’s role on the project is that of “creative collaborator.”

Dark Horse has released the official synopsis for the series, set in a future Earth reduced to a wasteland.

“Zynitec harnesses the unparalleled energy of Kronium to assert its dominance over the stars. When Kai, a rising star Mediator in Zynitec’s military, receives an inexplicable message from a mysterious entity, everything he thinks he believes in is called into question, leaving him to explore what it truly means to be human in a world where the lines of technology and identity blur.”

Hardy spoke about the series in an interview, saying: “I’ve always been drawn to the creative process in all aspects of storytelling: one of the main reasons I love comics is that the canvas is infinite, a vast expanse to explore the human condition, the depth of characters and vast realms, all limited only by our collective imagination.

“It’s an honor to work alongside legends like Scott, Frank, and Ryan to help bring the Arcbound universe to life.”

This comic will be the starting point of a new multimedia franchise that I’m sure Hardy and his team hope to one day adapt into a feature film or series.
