Lionsgate has released the first trailer for the serial killer mystery thriller titled Graveyard, which is inspired by a shocking true crime story.
This film stars Mel Gibson AND Curtis “50 Cent” Jacksonand in the story, when the skeletal remains of 11 women and girls are discovered in the New Mexico desert, an extensive investigation is launched.
The synopsis reads: “Inspired by true crime stories, this chilling crime thriller follows Police Chief Carter (50 Cent), Detective Ortega (Brian Van Holt) and Agent Petrovick (Gibson) in a multi-agency effort to identify and capture the killer.
“As their agendas and methods collide, a tangled web of intrigue casts suspicion in all directions.”
The film is directed by Asif Akbar and the rest of the cast includes Nora Zehetner, Michael Sirow, Spice Williams-Crosby, Weston CageAND Gabrielle Haugh.
Lionsgate will release the film in select US theaters on July 5, 2024.
