There’s a new live-action street fighter film currently in development by Legendary Entertainment and Speak with me directors Danny AND Michele Filippou are leading the project.
Today we get our first look at the movie’s logo, and it looks like exactly the kind of logo you’d expect to see for a street fighter movie because it is the street fighter logo.
There are no details to share regarding the story, but the directors said they were given creative freedom on the project.
Michael commented on how the film “has an amazing lore, characters and world.” Danny then added: “With Street Fighter, Legendary, [it appears] that they’ll let us take control and really do our thing. It’s very exciting.”
I’m very curious about this film and the story the creative team is trying to tell. There’s a fantastic opportunity here to make a badass movie with some incredibly cool fight scenes!
