The first official photo for The witcher Season 4 has been released and gives us our first real look Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia.

A few set photos have already made their way online, but this one offers a proper look at Hemsworth, and well… that’s pretty much how all those deeply fake images and videos made him look.

Aside from looks, it all comes down to performance. Will Hemsworth be able to match the energy and tenacity that Henry Cavill brought to the role? This is what everyone will compare Hemsworth to, and we’ll just have to wait and see how he goes.

Co-star of the series Freya Allanwho plays Ciri on the show, said she feels sorry for Hemsworth as he faces what is “not an ideal situation,” but hopes fans give him a chance.

The witcher the series will end with season 5 and the last two seasons will be resumed one after the other. They will adapt the rest of the author Andrzej Sapkowskihis books, Baptism of fire, The Tower of the SwallowAND Lady of the Lake.

The witcher Season 4 will pick up right after the Season 3 finale. “After the shocking, continent-altering events that close out Season 3, the new season follows Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri as they must traverse the war-torn continent and its many separated demons from each other.

“If they can embrace and lead the misfit groups they find themselves in, they have a chance of surviving the baptism of fire and finding themselves.”

The series is also the protagonist Joey Batey, Freya Allan, Anya ChalotraAND Meng’er Zhang. New additions Laurence Fishburnewho will play Regis, and Danny Woodburnwho plays Zoltan, are in the photo.

Season 4 will include eight episodes in total.
