Marvel Studios reveals the official AGATHA series title and premiere date in a promotional video

Marvel Studios has revealed that all the past titles that have been shared for WandaVision the spin-off series that will focus on Agatha were all red herrings.

Titles that have been shared in recent years include Agatha: Chaos Coven, Agatha: The Darkhold Journals, Agatha: House of Harknessand, more recently, Agatha: the lying witch with the big wardrobe.

All of these titles are included in the promotional video, which is set to the song “Agatha All Along”, which is the official title of the series… Agata always. So Marvel just had fun teasing the fans.

It was also revealed that the series will debut on Disney+ with a two-episode premiere on Wednesday, September 18.

The star of the series Kathryn HahnHe previously spoke about returning to play the character, saying, “I wish I could tell you anything. I can tell you it’s really amazing, I’m going to say this, I was going to say amazing, but then I decided to go with fabulous.”

She added: “It’s a fantastic cast. I’m in awe of everyone’s work on this show and I think people will be surprised. I’m not, I think they’ll think it’s one-sided and obviously it’s going to go a million different ways at some point. sense WandaVision.”

Agate is described as a “dark comedy” in the MCU. The last time we saw Agatha, she attempted to take Wanda Maximoff’s magic for herself, and Wanda trapped her in the “Agnes” persona.

The description for the first episode of the show reads: “In the first episode we see Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) finally manages to free herself from the spell she was trapped in.

“He can’t wait to go back to his old murderous ways only to find that he’s helpless. The only way out for her is to embark on a dangerous quest to regain her powers with the help of an unlikely friend or two.”

The series is also the protagonist Aubrey Square in the role of Rio Vidal, Patti Lu Pone plays Lilia Calderu, e Sasheer Zamata plays Jennifer Kale. Joe Locke also appears in the show but is only listed as “Teen”. Ali Ahn she plays a character named Alice.

Other returning cast members from WandaVision include David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, AND Kate Forbes. They merge Deborah Jo Rupp AND Emma Caufield who are also returning cast members.
