The Horror Collective has released a trailer for an indie horror film titled The silence of the preywhich tells a disturbing story about a cannibalistic cult.
In the film, “Desperate to secure a future for her son, an undocumented immigrant mother known as Mary (Lorianna Izrailova) takes a job as a janitor. Unbeknownst to him, the old man is hiding a horrible truth: she is the next item on the menu.
Producers Monte Bezell and Den Tolmor said in a statement: “Our film encapsulates the heartbreaking disappearance of thousands of people, shrouding the line between the enigmatic and the inconceivable.
“It is a chilling homage to the terrors that resonate in the void of the absent, an uncompromising, spine-tingling saga that forces us to face the abyss lurking among us.”
The film was directed by Karyna Kudzina AND Michael Vaynberg and becomes the protagonist Mount Bezell, Michael Doyle, Lorianna Izrailova, Karyna Kudzina, Chris La PantaAND Rebecca Packer.
This sounds like a film that hardcore horror fans might enjoy. The Horror Collective will release the film directly to VOD on May 14, 2024.
