A new trailer for the director has been released Takashi Miikeis a crazy looking film project The woodcutter the monster. The film pits a complete psychopath against a sadistic serial killer.
It looks like this movie is going to be a crazy and brutal movie. If you like the type of films Miike makes, you’ll love what this one has to offer! Some of Miike’s previous films include Audition, Ichi The Killer, 13 AssassinsAND Blade of the Immortal.
The film is described as an “insanely suspenseful thriller!” In the story, “Akira Ninomiya is a ruthless lawyer who does not hesitate to eliminate anyone who gets in his way.
“One night he is brutally attacked by an unknown assailant wearing a ‘monster mask’. Although he miraculously survives the assault, Ninomiya becomes fixated on finding the attacker and taking revenge.
“Meanwhile, a series of gruesome murders occur where victims are found with their brains removed from their bodies. While the police conduct a thorough investigation, Ninomiya seeks revenge against her attacker. Who will discover the truth first?!”
