Actor Doctor Doom from 1994’s FANTASTIC FOUR wants Marvel Studios to release it

In 1994, legendary B-movie director Roger Corman produced one of Marvel’s first films… a film adaptation of Fantastic Four. The film was never officially released, but a bootleg version was leaked and has since gained a cult following.

YouTuber GodzillaMendoza recently shared a video he made in which he talks about the unreleased film and explores how the cast was tricked into making Fantastic Four. The film was produced by German director Bernd Eichinger and he was about to lose the ownership rights to the film. So to keep things fair, he rushed to make a film with Roger Corman.

Well, after the video was posted, Fantastic Four actor Joseph Culp, who played Victor Von Doom in the low-budget film, has called for the film’s official release! He said:

“This is spectacular. Thank you so much for putting together this wonderful exposé on the first Fantastic Four! Your opinions are spot on and deeply appreciated. On the thirtieth anniversary, the truth must be told and the film released.”

I seriously doubt Marvel will ever release this movie in theaters, but it would be fun if they did! In addition to Culp as Doctor Doom, Fantastic Four He acted Alex Hyde-White as Mister Fantastic, Rebecca Staab like Invisible Woman, Jay Underwood in the role of the Human Torch, Carlo Ciarfalio like The Thing, and Kat Green as Alicia Masters.

If you want to know more about the film, there is a fantastic documentary from 2015, Doomed!: The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s Fantastic Fourwhich features interviews with Corman and the cast about their time making the superhero film.
