Paramount is working on a spin-off film titled Sam and Victor’s day offbased on the characters from the 1986 classic John Hughes movie, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Sam and Victor were the two guys who worked at the garage in Chicago, who had promised to take care of Cameron’s father’s 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder, which Ferris had taken from Cameron’s father’s garage home without permission. Cameron was visibly uncomfortable with the arrangement, and as the boys walked away, we saw the garage employees speeding away embarking on a joy ride. Now we will see what they did in their adventure that day.
The film was developed by Cobra Kai creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden SchlossbergAND Josh Healdand writer Bill Posley (for whoever wrote Cobra Kai Season 4) is writing the screenplay. David Katzenberga producer on The Goldbergs, ItAND Beetle juice Beetle juicehe was chosen to direct the film.
This looks like it will be a fun project. We don’t have a release date yet, but we’ll keep you updated as it develops.
