Bob Odenkirk (Better call Saulo) has signed on to star in a new action film based on a screenplay by Nobody AND John Wick writer Derek Kolstad. The new film is called NormalAND Ben Wheatley (Meg 2: The Trench, Free Fire, Skyscraper) is set to direct. I would like to point out that this film is not a sequel Nobody.
The film follows “Ulysses (Odenkirk), who is temporarily put in charge of the role of sheriff of the small sleepy town of Normal following the untimely death of his predecessor. When the town’s bank is robbed by an out-of-town couple, Ulysses arrives on the scene to discover that the town has far more sinister, deep-rooted secrets beneath its surface, and everyone from the bartender to the priest is in on it. It. And now Odysseus, who until now has focused only on escaping the demons of his past, must discover the full extent of this criminal conspiracy.”
This looks like it’s going to be a fun action movie! Marc Provissiero (Nobody, no hard feelings), Odenkirk and Kolstad will produce. It will be great to see Odenkirk in another action movie, I really liked it Nobody. Then there’s the creative team of Kolstad and Wheatley, who will take the film to a shocking level.
