Disney has released a new teaser trailer for Pixar Inside out 2 and focuses on the anxiety that moves through Riley’s mind as he plays hockey. It seems like things are going to get really confusing and messy for other emotions with anxiety around.
In the sequel: “The little voices in Riley’s head know her inside and out, but next summer everything will change. Pixar’s Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of newborn teenager Riley as the headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something completely unexpected: new thrills! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who have long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when anxiety arises. And it seems she’s not alone.
Emotions in Riley’s brain include Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), Fear (Tony Hale) and anger (Lewis Black). Then there’s Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke.
Pixar has not yet revealed the other new characters that will appear in the film. Director Kelsey Mann says Anxiety “may be new to the crew, but he’s not really the type to fade into the background. This makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on in our minds.”
Inside out 2 will be released in theaters on June 14, 2024.
