Ashton Kutcher admitted during the presentation of his FX series “Beauty” at New York Comic Con that he has been rejected from projects because of his appearance.

When Ashton Kutcher was asked what it was like to play the “fun supervillain” on the show, the actor replied: “I think every role you get depends in part on how you look, right? That’s a very important part of what you bring to your character. There are roles I get because of the way I look, and there are roles I don’t get because of the way I look.”
Ashton explained that she wasn’t cast in “loser” roles because of her “flawless” appearance, adding, “It’s frustrating sometimes.” But he says working as a producer helped him understand the logic behind casting choices: “You’re trying to tell a story with images, and those images need to evoke a certain emotion in the viewer.”
“Beauty” is an international thriller directed by Murphy and Matthew Hodgson based on the comic book series by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. According to the synopsis, the series is about a sexually transmitted virus that “makes its hosts more beautiful, but has fatal consequences.”
Meanwhile, Demi Moore said she was still traumatized by her marriage to Ashton Kutcher.
