Universal Pictures and producer Steven Spielberg they are developing a new one Jurassic world film that has been described as a “complete reboot.” Original Jurassic Park scribe David Koepp is writing the screenplay and now the studio is in talks with a director who will helm the film. That director is John Wick, High speed trainAND Deadpool 2 director David Leitch!
David Leitch directs at Jurassic world movie!? This sounds like it would be pretty damn awesome and crazy! Ok… yes, I would definitely want to see that movie! I completely agree with this! Now we just have to wait and see if he ends up directing the film in the end.
The new Jurassic world the film will be “a completely new take” on the franchise and stars Chris Pratt AND Bryce Dallas Howard return is not planned. Don’t expect to see Jeff Goldblum, Laura DernOR Sam Neill don’t even show up.
It is explained that Universal still sees it as a franchise “that hasn’t lost its luster among fans like the most recent film, Jurassic World: Domination, grossing a billion dollars at the global box office and I couldn’t wait to dive back into the universe with a new perspective.”
By hiring a director like Leitch, Universal is clearly not messing around with the next film and wants another big box office hit with this franchise! Leitch has a unique cinematic style, especially when it comes to his badass action sequences!
