A short synopsis of DEADPOOL 3 teases that Deadpool will “change the history of the MCU”

Marvel Studios has released a new synopsis for Deadpool 3. The synopsis comes from Marvel Japan, and while it’s short, it packs the kind of punch you’d expect from a Deadpool movie.

The synopsis reads: “That damn irresponsible hero Deadpool will change the history of the MCU with Wolverine!?”

It’ll be interesting to see how this adventure between Deadpool and Wolverine plays out, but we all know for sure that it’s going to be a wild, crazy ride!

When previously we talked about the film, the director Shawn Levy he said it will have as much heart and emotion as his other films, including Free boy, The Adam projectAND Real steel:

“I will say this: Fuck more than you think. I’m so wary… but one thing that Ryan and I were very close on was wanting to make Deadpool 3 very consistent and continuous with the franchise.” DNA, but to see where we might evolve in this third film.”

Levy went on to explain that the “evolution” of the Deadpool film franchise was an easy challenge to tackle once one key story detail was established:

“We once knew it was going to be a Wolverine/Deadpool movie, my God! What a gift for any storyteller. Because not only do you have two iconic actors playing their most iconic roles, but you have two characters whose dynamic is already notorious tense. And whenever you’re dealing with characters who start from a place of deep dislike, conflict and difference from each other… the mouth [Deadpool]and the same grumpy, laconic man of few words [Wolverine], what a fantastic formula for storytelling. And ultimately the film has a lot more character and depth and heart than I think anyone expects.”

The film is the protagonist Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin as the evil Cassandra Nova, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic like Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggam in the role of blind Al. They are united by Brianna HildebrandAND Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. Rob Delaney he will return as Peter and Jennifer Garner she will return as Elektra in the film. There’s also a long list of cameos that may or may not appear in the film.

Deadpool 3 will be written by Bob’s Burgers’ Wendy Molyneaux AND Lizzie Molyneaux-Loeglinwith Dead Pool AND Deadpool 2 writers Rhett Reese AND Paul Wernick also returning to contribute to the screenplay.

Deadpool 3 is scheduled to hit theaters on July 26, 2024.
