Last fall, news emerged that the series “Don’t Be Born Beautiful” would shoot a sequel, almost 20 years after the first episode was broadcast. Yulia Takshina, who plays Vika Klochkova, one of the actors of the cult series, gave a rare interview in which she recalled the shootings in the project.
The actor admitted that he was always against office romances, but Grigory Antipenko, who played the role of Andrei Zhdanov, left him no choice. “It was with Grisha, we have two children, so a spark definitely jumped. But never from now on. In fact, office romances are great and wonderful, but sometimes they can really interfere with the profession,” quotes the TN-star artist.
Let’s remember that the love between Yulia Takshina and Grigory Antipenko developed very quickly. Literally a few months after they met, the couple began to live together. In 2007, their son Ivan was born, and two years later their son Fedor. In 2012, the couple announced their separation.
The series “Don’t Be Born Beautiful” is based on the Colombian telenovela “I Am Betty, Ugly.” The film was released from 2005 to 2006 (a total of 200 episodes were aired). The main role in the series was played by Nelly Uvarova.
