Prime Video has released a new R-rated comedy titled Ricky Stanickywhat stars Zac Efron AND John Cena. The film is about a childhood prank gone wrong and a decades-long lie gone too far. The film comes from the director Peter Farrelly (Dumb and dumber, all crazy about Mary), and it looks like a fun movie!
In the film, “When three childhood best friends play a prank gone wrong, they invent the imaginary Ricky Stanicky to get them out of trouble! Twenty years after creating this “friend”, Dean, JT and Wes (Zac Efron, Andrea SantinoAND Jermaine Fowler) still use the non-existent Ricky as a convenient alibi for their immature behavior. When their spouses and partners become suspicious and ask to finally meet the legendary Mr. Stanicky, the guilty trio decide to hire washed-up actor and vulgar celebrity impersonator “Rock Hard” Rod (John Cena) to bring him back to life. But when Rod pushes the role of their lives too far, they begin to wish they’d never invented Ricky.”
Other cast members include William H. Macy, Lex Scott DavisAND Anja Savcic. The film will be released on March 7, 2024.
