After the singles “Perdu”, “Petit Corps” and “Rome”, the French singer Solann has just released her first EP, Monstrous. To help us discover her world, she tells Madmoizelle about her first times, in a video interview.

I didn’t say to myself: “I’ll make busy songs”. It’s just that my songs are like my psycho sessions », summarizes Solann to describe his creative process a to miss. In her single “ Rome », writes in particular:

The first times of Solann, bewitching pop-folk singer

On the occasion of the release of his first EP, Monstrousreleased on January 19, 2024, the singer with a crystalline voice and a bewitching universe recounts her first times which allow us to better understand where her ethereal pop-folk comes from.


Her first musical crush, the first song she wrote, the first instrument she played, or even the first time she went on stage… Solann reveals a lot, especially as the film’s villain Sinbad, Eris, consolidated his future tastes. We also discover her musical influences, she who grew up cradled by Barbara and Charles Aznavour, before discovering Hozier and Fiona Apple on her own.
