Hannah Waddingham took her rightful place in fans’ hearts when she starred in Apple’s hit series Ted Lasso. Since then her schedule has been busy as she is a Hollywood star that everyone would like to see more of. One of her upcoming projects is the highly anticipated sequel Mission: Impossible 8, which he joined in a secret role. All we know for now is that she’ll have a pretty big action sequence with the star of the franchise Tom Cruise.
During a recent appearance on ITV’s James Martin’s Saturday Morning show (via The Independent), Waddingham previewed the “intense” five days she spent alongside Cruise, who she says she’s ready to defend against any haters:
“I have to say I have a real problem with anyone who goes there [Tom Cruise] Now. Having met him and spent five intense days…he IS without a doubt one of the most lovely, encouraging, positive and inspiring human beings I have ever met. Isn’t he beautiful? I don’t have time for anyone to say anything about him.
It seems like they really bonded over the week-long shoot. Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning, part two its release is now scheduled for May 23, 2025.
