“Mayor of Kingstown” stars Jeremy Renner and Emma Laird announce return to production on third season of Paramount+ crime drama

Jeremy Renner and the cast of Mayor of Kingstown is preparing to return to production on the third season of the Paramount+ drama.

On Thursday, Renner shared a post from co-star Emma Laird on his Instagram story in which he hinted that the couple would be reuniting just after the New Year.

The post included a photo of Laird and Renner, apparently on set, with the caption: “It’s happening” and “Back next week with my favorite man.”

Renner will return Mayor of Kingstown He underwent an extensive recovery process after a serious snowplow accident on Jan. 1 that left him with more than 30 broken bones. Season 2 of the series began two weeks later on January 15 and ended on March 19.

Deadline previously reported this Mayor of Kingstown Production on the third season was set to begin in January after the actors’ strike ended in November, including series Strange things, criminal thoughts And The old man.

The series follows the McLusky family, a family of realtors in Kingstown, Michigan, where incarceration is the only thriving industry.

Mayor of Kingstown is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions. The executive producers are Sheridan, Dillon, Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Dave Erickson and Regina Corrado.
