According to diversity reports, Universal and Dreamworks Animation was postponed from 23 December 2026 to 30 June 2027 to the premiere of “Shrek”.
This is the second postponement of Schrek 5, which was initially planned for July 2026. Previously, the film should be released in December 2026. The studio did not name the reason for the delay.
