In the third season of the Magic Battle anime, the return of Satoru Gojo was confirmed and the first image of the hero with a renewed appearance was shown.

Satoru Gojo will reappear in the third season of the Magic Battle anime, and his updated appearance has been officially revealed. The first to appreciate this were those who paid attention to the new collection of items from the exhibition based on the series. Despite the fact that the premiere of the third part is not scheduled until January 2026, interest in the sequel is also fueled by the upcoming full-length project “Magic Battle: Execution.”

The confirmation of Gojo’s return has become a major news item: now fans no longer doubt that their favorite character will be released from captivity. His new look is thicker and more imposing, with a sense of purpose – as if he has wasted no time outside the Prison Realm. An illustration of the hero appeared as a decoration for exhibition souvenirs related to the “Shibuya Incident”.

The set of exclusive products also included stickers from Gojo, which looks more impressive than before. The official account of the exhibition announced the collection on October 13, 2025. This announcement immediately sparked discussion among the audience – everyone understood that this will be so in the new episodes.

In the manga, Gojo’s appearance changes immediately after he is released from prison. If the anime does not deviate from the plot of the original, in the third season viewers will experience events related to the “Game of Survival” and the return of the strongest shaman. For comparison, in the second season they showed about 75 chapters from the original source.

If the duration of the new part is 24-26 episodes, the creators will cover the plot of chapters 137 to 221 of the manga. This shows the events immediately after the end of the Shibuya arc, all the challenges in the “Game of Survival” and the famous “No, I would have won” moment that went viral all over the internet.

Fans are speculating that the Battle of Shinjuku arc could be brought to the big screen in its entirety following the release of Gojo. After the success of the previous film and the enormous arc of Shibuya, such a move seems logical: the spectacular confrontation between Gojo and Sukuna seems a worthy candidate for cinemas and powerful music.

If you plan to catch up on the series, all released episodes are available on online platforms. “No, I would have won,” this phrase from Gojo has become a symbol for many fans of the series.
