There’s a new Marvel-themed ride coming to Avengers Campus at Disney’s California Adventure, and today we’re getting a first look at it with some concept art that has been shared. The ride is inspired by Tony Stark’s time suits, Xandarian jump points and Wakandan technology. This art shows us the racing vehicle.
The concept art includes the following information: “For the past two years, recruits from around the world have visited campus to train and fight alongside a bevy of superheroes, and now it’s time to level up the training. A new attraction is coming to the area soon, and recruits will gather to join heroes from across the Multiverse to battle King Thanos.”
It is also explained that “new technology has been developed that will allow the Avengers Campus to become the hub of a multi-world, universe-spanning mission. To do so, campus inventors, inspired by Tony Stark’s time suits, Xandarian jump points, and Wakandan technology, created a vehicle to transport heroes to remote worlds in moments to help save the day. The new vehicle combines portal technology and flight capabilities to maneuver in the skies, allowing heroes (and recruits) to deploy wherever they are needed.”
I’m curiously excited to see what the experience of this new ride will be. I’m just happy to see Avengers Campus get another pass. That area of Avengers park got pretty bland real quick. It definitely needs a new life.
