Creepy trailer for Shudder’s demonic horror movie ELEVATOR GAME

“Experience terror on another level.” Shudder has released the trailer for his upcoming horror film Elevator game, which is based on the urban legend that has become an online phenomenon. The film tells the story of a group of teenagers who perform a ritual in an elevator that is supposed to take them to another dimension. It actually looks like it could be a decently creepy horror movie that will deliver some serious scary thrills.

Players of the game have to follow a set of rules, and to play the game you have to ride the elevator in a specific sequence, summoning a supernatural creature called “The 5th Floor Woman”. But if they break any of the rules, the demon will come after them, which is obviously what happens.

The film description reads: “Based on the online phenomenon of the same name, Elevator Game follows socially awkward teenager Ryan, who ingratiates himself with a group of recent college grads who run an online web series that debunks urban legends. But Ryan has a secret: his sister went missing months earlier, and he believes they—and a dangerous online challenge called “The Elevator Game”—were responsible. To play, you must take the elevator in a specific sequence, summoning a supernatural creature called “The 5th Floor Woman”. In an effort to gain more information on his sister’s whereabouts, Ryan convinces the group to play the game one more time, risking unleashing the most frightening consequences imaginable.

Elevator game is directed by the writer and director Rebecca McKendry and is the protagonist Gino Ananias, Marks of truth, Alec Carlos, Madison MacIsaac, Liam Stewart Kanigan, Nazarij DemkowiczAND Megan Best.

The thrill will release Elevator game on September 15, 2023.
