LOKI season 2 gets cryptic teaser clip thanks to McDonald’s

Marvel Studios has teamed up with McDonald’s for a big cross-promotion for Loki Season 2, and McDonald’s has shared a cryptic short teaser clip. It features Sophia DiMartinoSylvie works on a retro version of McDonlad’s past when Tom HiddlestonLoki comes in and changes the dynamic. It comes off as a charming, magical little moment. In a later post on X, Sylvie asks if she’s going to order anything.

All of this plays into the marketing of McDonald’s new “As Featured In Meal”. Here’s what the company had to say about the upcoming collaboration: “It’s not just our real-life fans who have an order of reference…for decades, so have our favorite TV and movie characters. The As Featured In Meal is our largest Famous Order ever, celebrating McDonald’s most memorable references in entertainment.”

In Season 2, the god of mischief finds himself with a little “time slipping” problem. The trailer is also present Ke Huy Quan like an archivist they turn to for help. Owen Wilson returns as Mobius, and will continue to help Loki as they try to figure out that the clock is ticking down and this leads them to Jonathan Major like the Kang Victor Timely variant.

The cast also includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Raffaele Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil ElliceAND Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, of which we see a variant in the trailer.

The series was directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moore, Dan Deleuw AND Kasra Farahani. The main writer of the show is Eric Martin and is produced by Kevin Feige, Stephen Brussard, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin R. WrightHiddleston, Benson, Moorhead, Martin e Michael Waldron.

Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2 begins streaming October 6, exclusively on Disney+.
