According to US court documents, Australian singer Sia’s ex-husband demanded more than $250,000 a month in alimony, BBC reported.

In court documents, former doctor Dan Bernard said he needed a monthly allowance to maintain the “lavish, upper-class lifestyle” he had throughout his marriage. He claimed he became “financially dependent on Sia” after quitting his job to run a short-term medical gig with Sia, according to the documents.
In court documents, Bernard said the couple, who married in December 2022 and have an 18-month-old son, spent more than $400,000 a month on private jets, vacations, fine dining and several full-time employees: “We never had to watch our expenses.” The 47-year-old man said the temporary alimony order he was seeking was “necessary” because Sia, 49, was “the breadwinner of our marriage.”
Recall, after Sia gave birth to her third child in March this year, she decided to divorce her husband Dan Bernard after 26 months of marriage.
