Frank Darabont’s film adaptation of Stephen King’s THE MIST is about to be released in 4K

Director Franco Darabontfilm adaptation by Stephen King The haze is getting the 4K treatment and will hit 4K Ultra HD on October 3 from Lionsgate.

This is a great film adaptation that has a hell of a controversial ending which the director supports. This movie is one of the things that inspired me to start my own movie website. Prior to the film’s release, I attended an early test screening and wrote a review which I submitted to Ain’t It Cool News in 2007. That review was posted on their site and I rushed over, so I figured It would be cool to start a geek blog, and this has led to GeekTyrant.

Additionally, Best Buy will receive an exclusive SteelBook version of the all-new 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray+ Digital release, which will contain alternate graphics and a box set.

Both releases include the color version and the black and white version of the film.
