Sylvester Stallone admits career regrets in trailer for his Netflix documentary SLY

Netflix has released the first trailer for Cunninga new documentary about the life and career of Sylvester Stallone. The document was directed by Tom Zimny (Springsteen on Broadway), and will explore the ups and downs of his nearly 50-year Hollywood career.

The trailer features Stallone speaking about the sacrifices, fears and insecurities that tend to be a part of filmmaking and admitting career regrets by saying, “Do I have any regrets? “Hell yeah, I have regrets.” He also says in the trailer: “What’s healthier than living under the illusion that you could have been awesome? Or do you actually have the opportunity to be great, and then you fail and you realize you’re a failure?

The synopsis reads: “For nearly 50 years, Sylvester Stallone has entertained millions with iconic characters and blockbuster franchises, from Rocky to Rambo to The Expendables. This retrospective documentary offers an intimate look at the Oscar-nominated actor-writer-director-producer, paralleling his inspired underdog story with the indelible characters he brought to life.

The doc will be released on Netflix in November.
