Haunted by the spirit of a long-dead bride, Veil of Sorrows attracted the attention of the Confessed as she cataloged the ancient writings of the chambers under Candlekeep proper. Since no documentation of his or his donor’s arrival could be found, it was collected, listed, and placed among other books detailing occult fiction.
The book has since caused turmoil among the Declared, many of whom begin to suspect its haunted nature and enlist the help of a brave group of adventurers.
