Amazing new trailer for Netflix’s adventure-filled fantasy series SWEET TOOTH

Netflix has released a new trailer for the second season of the fantastic fantasy adventure series Sweetness! The first season of this show was so good and I can’t wait to see the story continue. It certainly looks like it will take audiences and fans on an intense, dark and adventurous journey.

The series is based on the comic by Jeff Lemirand this is the description of the story: “Ten years ago ‘The Great Crumble’ devastated the world and led to the mysterious appearance of hybrids: children born part human, part animal. I’m not sure if hybrids are the cause or the result of the virus, many humans fear and hunt them down.After a decade of living in the safety of his secluded forest home, a sheltered hybrid deer-boy named Gus unexpectedly befriends a wandering loner named Jepperd.Together they embark on an extraordinary adventure through what’s left of America in search of answers about Gus’ origins, Jepperd’s past, and the true meaning of home.But their history is filled with unexpected allies and enemies, and Gus soon learns that the world is lush and dangerous outside the forest it is more complex than he ever could have imagined.

In Sweetness Season 2, the hybrids will fight back! Gus and his fellow hybrids are held captive by the Last Men to find a cure for the Sick. To save his friends, Gus must find new strength as he uncovers the origins of The Great Crumble. The synopsis for season 2 reads:

As a deadly new wave of Sick strikes, Gus and a band of fellow hybrids are held captive by General Abbot and the Last Men. Seeking to consolidate power by finding a cure, Abbot uses the children as fodder for the experiments of captive Dr. Aditya Singh, who is racing to save his infected wife Rani. To protect his friends, Gus agrees to help Dr. Singh, starting a dark journey into his origins and his mother Birdie’s role in the events leading up to The Great Crumble. Outside the Preserve, Tommy Jepperd and Aimee Eden team up to free the hybrids, a partnership that will be tested as Jepperd’s secrets come to light. As revelations from the past threaten the possibility of redemption in the present, Gus and his newfound family find themselves on a collision course with Abbot and the forces of evil seeking to wipe them out once and for all.

The series comes from Jim Mickle (Pole land), who is writer, showrunner, executive producer and director of Sweetness. Executive producers also include Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey AND Amanda Burrell.

The series is the protagonist Cristiano Convery like Gus, I don’t know Anozie like Jepperd, Adeel Akhtar as Dr. Singh, Stephanie LaVie Owen like Bear, Dania Ramirez as Aimee Eden, Aliza Vellani as Rani Singh, Naledi Murray like Wendy, Neil Sandland as abbot general, Marlon Williams as Johnny Abbott, Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. such as Teddy Turtle and Yonas Kibreab as Finn Fox; with James Brolin like the narrator’s voice.

Season 2 will be released on Netflix on April 27th!
