Actor Chris Pratt is known for many movies and TV series but perhaps the greatest of all was the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. The third and final film in the trilogy is only a month away, and we’ve been promised a heartbreaking film, but we still don’t know exactly what it’s going to be like. Pratt clarified, however, that if given the chance, this wouldn’t be his last time playing Peter Quill / Star-Lord.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Pratt was asked if he was done playing Quill, and carefully answering without spoilers, Pratt said:
“There are ways people can come back from the dead. That said, saying I don’t feel like I’m done shouldn’t get into spoiler territory. I don’t want it to be like, ‘Oh, well, Chris Pratt says Peter Quill doesn’t die.’ That’s not what I’m saying. What I’m saying is, even if I die, there is a way to bring me back. So if you’re talking about, basically, can Peter Quill come back? The answer will always be yes. Now if you’re telling me, Chris Pratt the actor, I want to reprise my role as Peter Quill, and is there any mileage left in the character, and do I have the bandwidth or the headspace for that? I do. I would be interested in playing the character again.
Who knows what the movie might bring, but whether or not this is the last we see of Pratt in the role, he’s certainly done a fantastic job. Can’t wait to see how the story ends. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be released in theaters on May 5th.
