Sydney Sweeney’s Amazing Role in ‘Madame Web’ Revealed.

Until recently, the recordings of “Madame Web” were still in development and, with them, only a couple of details of the film that would star Dakota Johnson were confirmed. But now comes one of the great news of the film, which is that the character who will play Sydney Sweeney has been revealed, which will be very important for the future of the USS.

During his most recent episode for The Hot Mic podcast, insider Jeff Sneider revealed it Sydney Sweeney will be Spider-Woman ‘Ms Web’. Late last year, a rumor claimed that the “Euphoria” actress would have one of the biggest roles in the future of Sony’s Spider-Man universe, which seems to indicate that these rumors were true.

The card of Sidney Sweeney inside ‘Ms Web’ it is that of the “second” Spider-Woman, better known as Julia Carpenter. While the information hasn’t been confirmed by Sony Pictures so far, everything seems to indicate that the rumors will finally be confirmed, but seeing Sweeney in this character suggests that she’s the perfect candidate for the role.

What about Olivia Wilde’s Spider-Woman movie?

Rumors have long circulated that ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ director Olivia Wilde is set to direct a ‘Spider-Woman’ film of Jessica Drew’s version, for Sony’s Spider-Man universe. Supposedly, the storyline would be related to Disney’s MCU, however, as of this information has been revealed, no further information regarding it has surfaced.

With these rumors, it seems that Sony’s Spider-Woman would therefore be Julia Carpenter, and not Jessica Drew. But it will be only Sony who will have the task of denying all the rumors that have been circulating around one of her most anticipated films and with the greatest expectations on her USS.

The release date of ‘Madame Web’ will be next February 16, 2024, so there’s still a little less than a year left to find out what Sony Pictures has prepared regarding the future of its arachnid franchise, and whether it will tie directly into Marvel events Studios.
