


Maggie rollsJanice’s iconic voice continues to stand the test of time, just like everyone else’s Friends the franchise does. The mother of two who played Chandler Bing’s longtime girlfriend sat down with him HollywoodLife.com and discussed her time on the show, promoting the new FRIENDS Manhattan International Delight hazelnut mocha cream! Maggie talked about working on the side Matthew Perry in the midst of her dark struggles with addiction, which she recently spoke about in her new memoir. “When we were working together, I certainly knew he was struggling… I lost a brother to drug addiction, so I’m no stranger to that. And there were moments where we sat down and talked about it,” she recalled in an EXCLUSIVE interview with HL. “But Matthew is a consummate professional and showed up 100% in his job. Even when he was at his worst , showed up, was on time, knew his lines.”

Maggie continued, “There was never a moment sitting on stage with him where his struggles were evident at work. It’s brilliant, really brilliant.” The actress went so far as to say how “amazing” it was to consider Matthew “able to look” like this after the “dark” revelations in his book. “His humor was always there,” she recalled. “He was always in charge of it. He always knew how to do his job. He’s a phenomenal actor and a lot of fun.”
“I’m so proud of Matthew and think he did a great job writing his story and sharing his struggle so openly,” Maggie said. “I think he’s made a huge difference in the world by doing this for so many people who are struggling the same way.”

He father trap the actress went on to praise Friends and his legacy, speaking with HL at the FRIENDS Experience in New York City. “There’s something so connected to the humanity of all these characters that we see ourselves in not just one of them, but all of them,” she recalled. “I know people who fall asleep watching the show, it calms them down. He is your best friend in times of difficulty and need. I just think he’s extraordinary.”

International Delight teamed up with Maggie to help launch her new one FRIENDS Manhattan Hazelnut Mocha Creamer, inspired by Central Perk’s Manhattan Mocha coffee. “I’m very happy because when we were on the show, they gave the cast of Friends these amazing coffee makers so i have this beautiful espresso machine it says Friends on my kitchen counter… And this spread is delicious, I can’t wait to add some when I get home!” Maggie revealed.
