2022 Kids and Family Emmys Winners List: “Maya and the Three,” “The Baby-Sitters Club,” “Heartstopper” and More Win Trophies on First Night

The inaugural Kids and Family Emmys kicked off on the opening night of the gala at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles. JoJo Siwa hosted the Children’s & Family Creative Arts Emmy, with Jack McBrayer hosting the other categories tomorrow night.

In the evening 1 it was time Maya and the three, sneakers and The chase who collected the most honors with three trophies each.

One of the highlights of the first night was a special performance by XOMG POP!, Jess and Siwa’s girl group. There was also a performance by Martin P. Robinson, the legendary puppeteer he dated Sesame street since 1980, providing voices and puppetry for mr. Snuffleupagus, Telly Monster, Slimey the Worm, Martians and more. He also built, designed and played with the Audrey II dolls Little shop of horrors.
