The project is called “Hunt for Gollum” and is officially released on December 17, 2027. This is the first feature film based on the Lord of the Rings in the past 13 years – since the release of the Battle of the Five Armies.
The most important thing: Andy Serkis becomes the director and performer of the lead role – the one who played Gollum in the original trilogy and the “Hobbit”. Serkis confirmed that the preparation has been going on for a long time and that the shooting starts in the first half of next year.
