Kate Hudson and her fiance Danny Fujikawa embodied Halloween as they trick-or-treated with their five-year-old daughter Rani on Tuesday.
The 44-year-old actress channeled her inner goth vampire in a black Victorian dress which she paired with a statement hat, while Rani caused drama in her voluminous red tulle gown and had a cauldron for her treats .
Kate’s mother, Goldie Hawn, 77, and her stepfather, Kurt Russell, 72, also joined the family for a fun activity in the Brentwood neighborhood.
Although she may be a vampire, Kate couldn’t resist adding a touch of glamor to her outfit with a Fendi peep toe bag and pearl earrings.
Perhaps in honor of her name, Goldie was dressed in gold with leopard print leggings, while Kurt was dressed as a golfer.

Kate shared some family photos on Instagram of herself, Danny and Rani, all in costume.
Like the Victorian family portraits, they all had stoic expressions as they posed for the camera.
She wrote, “Vampire family portraits.”
Fans took to the comments section to praise the family for their Halloween efforts.

The trick-or-treating was a slight relief for Kate, who earlier this week paid tribute to Matthew Perry following his death at the age of 54.

The actress posted a photo of herself smiling as she shared the stage with Matthew at the 2004 MTV Movie Awards and added a poignant caption on Instagram Stories as a tribute.
“As you can see, to know him was to love him,” Kate wrote alongside the photo to her approximately 17.7 million followers.
“We played tennis and played some more tennis, talked endlessly about the worries and problems of love and then talked some more, laughed at ourselves and then laughed some more,” she added.
“I share the same sadness with our entire film and television community who spent time with Matthew,” Kate continued.
“I send my love and condolences to his family and his work families. We love you, Matthew,” she concluded.

Kate became the latest Hollywood celebrity to express her grief over the death of the beloved Friends star, who died at his home in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Matthew’s five “Friends” co-stars released a joint official statement on Monday about their “incredible loss.”
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer all signed the statement, telling fans they were saddened by the news.
“We are all devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just castmates. We are a family,” they told People. “There is so much to say, but for now we will take a moment to grieve and come to terms with this incredible loss.”
The star continued: “Over time we will say more as and when we can,” the statement continued. “At this time, our thoughts and love are with Matty’s family, his friends and all those who loved him around the world.”
Perry played the famous role of Chandler Bing in the hit sitcom, alongside Aniston as Rachel, Cox as Monica, LeBlanc as Joey, Kudrow as Phoebe and Schwimmer as Ross.
Friends, which followed the lives of six 20-something friends living in New York, was a huge hit worldwide when it aired between 1994 and 2004, and reruns remain popular years later.
