Abbie Chatfield has announced that she will not be returning as co-host of the RnB Fridayz Live tour this year.

The 28-year-old podcast host announced on Friday that she was stepping down from the role because she did not feel comfortable working with lead actor Jason Derulo amid allegations of sexual harassment against the singer.

Aspiring singer Emaza Gibson filed a lawsuit against the Whatcha Say singer in Los Angeles earlier this month. The lawsuit said Derulo became cold after she refused to spend time with him or drink alcohol. Once she was attacked in anger in front of her mother.

According to the bombshell, Gibson was “traumatized” after she signed a contract with Derulo and later realized he expected sex in return.

Derulo (34) called the allegations “false and hurtful” and said he was “against any form of harassment”.

“Hello everyone. “I’m just here to let you know that I have decided not to co-host the Fridayz Live tour this year and most likely for years to come,” she wrote via Instagram.

“There is currently an active lawsuit over the main law, including allegations of sexual harassment.

“While these are allegations at this time and there is no legal resolution, I personally do not feel comfortable performing my duties as co-host while these legal matters are still outstanding.”

Chatfield continued: “This is my personal position and I have decided to remove myself from the team.

“I’m sorry to disappoint everyone who wanted to see me at Fridayz Live this year. I wish the other acts in the line-up all the best for their shows and I’m disappointed I can’t be there.”
