Handwritten lyrics to two Céline Dion songs will be among the items when Julien’s Auctions hosts the Music Health Alliance’s Lyrics for a Cause benefit auction next month.

The lyrics written refer to two of the songs the 55-year-old Grammy winner has recorded: “The Prayer,” her 1999 collaboration with famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli; and this year The Gift from the film Love Again.

The package for “The Prayer” includes handwritten bars and lyrics as well as a signature from one of the songwriters, the famous David Foster, Julien said.

The gift package is signed by songwriter Tina Parol and includes a CD copy of Love Again with the handwritten inscription “Love is The Gift!”

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer made headlines earlier this year when she canceled all her performances until April 2024 because she has a neurological condition called “stiff person syndrome.”

The syndrome causes muscle spasms and stiffness that can be triggered by a light touch or loud noises and can affect posture and mobility.

“Unfortunately, the cramps affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulty walking and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing like I normally would,” the French-Canadian artist said on Instagram in December. 2022.

Music Health Alliance is a nonprofit organization that supports people in the music industry with health care advocacy and resources.

Other notable names whose memorabilia will be auctioned include Garth Brooks, Melissa Etheridge, Rick Springfield, Hozier, Kenny Chesney and Kelsea Ballerini, as well as Keith Urban.

Bidding begins Monday and ends Tuesday, November 14 at 6:00 PM CST as the auction takes place simultaneously online at Julien’s Live Auctions and in person at Hard Rock Cafe Nashville.
