Oscar winner Riz Ahmed and M3gan Star Allison Williams has been selected to host the 2023 Oscar nominations on Tuesday, January 24.
Nominations will be announced live from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater starting at 8:30am ET/5:30pm PT. They will be broadcast live Good morning America and streamed live on Goodmorningamerica.com, ABC News Live, Disney+, Oscars.org, Oscar.com and the Academy’s social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences previously released its list of 301 films eligible for the 2023 Best Picture Oscar Everything everywhere at oncewhich comes from Golden Globe and Critics Choice wins along with The Banshees of Inshirin, The Fabelmans, Avatar: The Way of Water, Top Gun: Maverick and elvis amongst other things.
Among those making the seasonal buzz in the acting categories is Cate Blanchett for it tarcomes from the Golden Globe and wins Critics Choice Best Actress, ahead of Brendan Fraser The whaleTom Cruise for Top Gun: Maverickand Michelle Yeoh for that Everything everywhere at once and Viola Davis in it The queen of women.
Ahmed won an Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film in 2022 with director Aneil Karia The long goodbye. In 2021, Ahmed received a nomination for Best Actor sound of metal.
Williams stars and executive produces the horror thriller M3gan She previously starred in Jordan Peele’s Oscar-winning film Get Out.
The 95th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will air live on ABC on March 12 and is also available to stream on ABC.com, Hulu Live TV and YouTubeTV.
