Each of us has experienced a situation where we left the beauty salon in tears. Such stories occur frequently, especially with hair. You tell the hairdresser that you want to shorten five centimeters and as a result you get a bob. It turns out that even models face such situations. Cindy Crawford mentioned one of them.

In the new documentary miniseries “Supermodels” featuring the “golden” cast (Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington), models remember the ’90s, behind the scenes of the industry and share their personal stories. For example, Cindy Crawford described her traumatic experience when a hairdresser cut her hair without asking her.
In the first episode of the docuseries, Cindy talks about her first big break: a photo shoot in Rome with famous photographer Patrick Demarchelier. The star remembers how excited she was about this opportunity, but things soon didn’t go as planned.

“They sent a hairdresser to cut my hair the first night,” the model said. After tying her thick hair into a ponytail, the hairdresser cut it. Cindy admitted that she “sat in the hotel in Rome and cried” after that. “People have been wondering ever since why I didn’t actually cut my hair; For this reason. “I was traumatized,” the star admitted.
He was upset not because of his short hair, but because he didn’t have a say. “It’s not that I don’t like my new short haircut, it’s that I’m not a fan of having it,” Crawford explained.
According to her memoirs, she was so impressed that she even considered whether she should start modeling. “I felt like I wasn’t really seen as a person who had a say in my own destiny,” Cindy said.
Previously, Christy Turlington told how she was banned from the podium in the 90s. Read more about this here.
