Unprisoned: Faly Rakotohavana & Jordyn McIntosh join Onyx Collective’s comedy series

EXCLUSIVE: Faly Rakotohavana (Secret society of second-born royalty) and Jordyn McIntosh (liberation) co-starred with Kerry Washington, Delroy Lindo and Marque Richardson in the comedy series Onyx Collective Not caughtstreaming exclusively on Hulu in the US, Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in all other territories.

The life-inspired series, created and produced by Tracy McMillan, centers on a chaotic but perfectionist couples therapist and single mother (Washington) whose life is turned upside down when her father (Lindo) gets out of prison and joins her, her and her teenager. son moves in

Rakotohavana plays Finn. Super logical (a player), reserved but hilarious, sweet, smart and hyper-rational, Finn is the son of single mom/family therapist/influencer Paige (Washington). Finn is open and receptive to his grandfather, and their relationship becomes a bridge home for Edwin—and a bridge to the world for Finn.

McIntosh will play Little Paige. Seven-year-old Little Paige is the personification of the inner child of the grown-up Paige, she is the part of Paige that remains unaffected by everything that has happened in her life – the loss of her mother, foster care, a father in prison. She shows up regularly and speaks directly to us (and to Paige) with a hilarious and sharp wisdom of the know-it-all kid.

Yvette Lee Bowser serves as executive producer and showrunner. Joy Gorman Wettels will be executive producer at Anonymous Content. Jen Braeden is also executive producer. The series is produced by ABC Signature.

Rakotohavana is best known for his role as Matteo in the Disney+ hit film Secret society of second-born royalty with Skylar Astin, Niles Fitch and Peyton Elizabeth Lee. He also stood out again The Mike and Raven’s house and guest star Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. Rakotohavana is represented by Media Artists Group and the ESI Network.

McIntosh was last seen on the big screen with Will Smith liberation and in The legendary life of AJ Fikry opposite Kunal Nayar.
