Amazon Prime Video continues to piss off fans Lord of the Rings. Sherry Rings of PowerAdapted from the novels by JRR Tolkien, it will be the big event on the platform next September.
On Wednesday, April 20, Amazon announced new visuals where we can explore two new characters created specifically for the series as they are not in the British author’s books.
The first is called Theo and will be played by young Australian actor Tyroe Muhafidin, who got his first major role early in his film career. He is seen in the photo armed with a broken sword. We immediately think of Narsil’s broken knife. The sword was destroyed by Sauron in the First Battle of Mordor, when Isildur cut off the finger of the one who forged the ring of power. The same blade reforged by the Elves and given to Aragorn, heir to the throne of Gondor. Or maybe it’s another weapon. Fans will form dozens of hypotheses in any case.
The second character is Bronwyn (played by British-Iranian actress Nazanin Boniadi).How I Met Your Mother, Vatan). Probably Theo’s mother and a healer from a Men village. He may also fall in love with an Elf named Arondir after arriving in his home village of Tirharad.
The first three episodes of the highly anticipated series will air on September 2.
