On Saturday, October 22, Stéphane Bern opened the doors of his magnificent home in Perche to the cameras. 50’Inside in TF1.
An opportunity for this history buff to say more from this royal and military college he bought in Thiron-Gardais: “It was a ruin! It was hardly visible from the outside, but inside everything had to be redone. (…) It became a pharaoh’s construction site, which put me in a bit of a dead end”. But this renovation project, he explains: “This adventure has given meaning to my life. I used to say yes, but radio, television, books are great… None of this will remain. Maybe one or two archives, that’s all. That will remain, and above all, I will leave it to the French”.
Fortunately, he can count on the support of his friend Yori. Stéphane Bern, who is deeply in love, does not miss the opportunity to praise the qualities of his beloved. “It makes me laugh, it’s cute, it’s full of fantasy. And above all, it’s kind and loving. And I believe everyone needs to be loved. And I admit it heals me”, allowed it to move.
This love is shared and Yori also reveals a few secrets about the owner of Secrets d’Histoire: “When he’s really the opposite, everyone watches him on TV and thinks he’s the best in class”. The entrepreneur adds: “What amuses me is that there’s a world between Stéphane Bern and the man at home, and what I love is making the spicy guy look funny. He’s a real clown in his private life.”
