Ethan investigates Axel to learn more about his uncle’s decision. His friend reassures him about his future by saying that he can come back if he gets fired. Ethan doesn’t believe it because of the drugs and regrets his possible departure as the institute is finally a place where he can have his place.
Clotilde questions Teyssier about Ethan’s fate. She announces that she will not fire him and admits that she did not understand her decision, especially after Tom’s attack. Teyssier points out that this action took place outside the institute and states that Ethan will be tested regularly. Antoine asks the chief if he is ready to let the young man go with an abusive mother.
Chief Meyer announces to students that he will actually have three weeks left to lead the first module of his master’s degree. She states that she will be there to accompany them to create their signature dish. Rose adds that then only one dish will be chosen and the entire promotion will work on a menu and a concept around it, and open a pop-up restaurant at the institute. During his lecture, the chief advises them to use their very negative emotions for this challenge.
punishment
The students were summoned by Teyssier, who explained that Chief Cardone had given his son doping products and was therefore immediately fired. When questioned by Tom, he adds that Ethan could stay if he did a drug test every week. Tom is shocked by her pity but calms him down by saying that if Teyssier doesn’t agree, he can leave.
In the hallway, Chief Cardone thanks Teyssier for detaining Ethan. The second says that she knew that the young man was taking drugs by himself, but pointed his finger at his responsibility because he put too much pressure on her. He warns her that he will eventually destroy her.
In the foyer, Axel tries to make up with Solal. The latter asks him if he knows about Ethan and takes care of him. Axel confesses and tries to justify himself. Solal is disappointed and sends her to meet before calling him back and offers to make peace. But in return, Axel must give him his secret for the roast lamb recipe.
Antoine admits to Guillaume that his confrontation with Teyssier was enjoyable because he held back and let it flow on his side. Guillaume uses this opportunity to tell him the reasons for their departure.
feelings
Samia pretends to need Axel’s help to question her about Ethan’s mood. They then see Chief Cardone pass by and the young student calls out to him. She blames him for what he did to his son and accuses him of being poisonous. The chief defends himself by explaining that you need to get tough for this job, especially if you’re a woman.
Annabelle Cardone joins Ethan in the kitchen. When she tells him about her food and reminds her that she’s risking her reputation and career for her, she accuses her of constantly trying to control her. She admits that when she had to cook, she took drugs right away and that’s why she’s been taking pills for years. She was touched and shocked, she finally dared to tell him that she thought she would be a great chef because she was talented.
Kelly meets Guillaume at the park. She took the opportunity to announce her separation and apologize for any tensions with her mother, Laetitia. She admits they’re too different to work with. He asks Kelly to stay in touch with him and salutes his talent.
Ethan goes to see Samia and tells her that he doesn’t need to talk to his mother. The ties are back. Guillaume says goodbye to Clotilde. Given their background, she is surprised that he wants to stay in touch with her. They remind him of his good years and bring back memories. He tells her that she is the woman of his life and that he is happy to see her happy with Joachim. He has tears in his eyes. He promises to always be by his side and Chief Armand asks him to take care of him.
Anaïs, Charlène and Salomé are concerned about the difficulty required for the master’s first module. Salomé and Anaïs go to ask Rose to cancel because they don’t want to disappoint Chief Meyer. Rose reproaches them for leaving them in a bad mood and reminds them that they are no longer students but leaders. The module is therefore protected.
