Axel is stressed out for the competition, especially as he was last in the group selected at the previous event. Jasmine, Eliott, and Greg specifically motivate him to eliminate Ethan. Greg asks him about his son, Cardone, and Axel admits that he was fine at first but turned into a shark as soon as the competition started.

Chief Cardone gave his son a final overhaul in his car. When he hesitates on a recipe, it reframes it and reminds him that he must surpass everyone, even if it means being hated by others. This is not a problem for him, and he emphasizes that at least he will be respected.

Ethan, who walks through the gates of the institute, is challenged by Samia. She tells him she doesn’t want to talk to him. He mocks her by saying that she is afraid of him and reminds him of his second row. But he doesn’t care, which makes the young woman uncomfortable.

Mehdi is happy that Hortense’s sister has passed the first stage of the competition. But his girlfriend points out that he will fail in the end. He accuses his sister of being a poison that destroys everything around him. He accuses her of wanting to enter the institute and steal his life. He adds that he was the one who told his parents that he was quitting the drug, which caused his father to cut him off.

Lionel corners Solal, accusing him of having no taste and saying he’s only good at making scones for the coffee shop. Solal gets angry and is also ordered by Claire. Greg is also tough on Ethan, who hasn’t taken the stage with the Chinese yet. Ethan wants to borrow Axel’s, but Axel refuses because he doesn’t like the way you talk to him. Axel finds Jasmine at the end of the test. Ethan joins them and talks to him about Chinese. Axel realizes that he is putting himself at the level of the competition, so he refuses to lend it. Ethan tells her that he will do the same. He says they are equal.

Samia and Billie ask Vic about his ordeal. Seeing the all-hearing neighbor Mahdi, Vic insists that his sister doesn’t understand the problem because she hates him and adores him.

David flirts with Salomé as he realizes that Chief Guinot respects him. She asks him to influence her grade but she refuses. He asks her about a candidate she likes, who advises her to focus on competition rather than dating. She accuses him of being annoying.

Axel goes to the locker room to look for Solal. The second is angry because of Lionel. Axel reassures him that the chief has them all and will reckon with Lionel’s villainy. He offers to take his mind off things before training again. Solal agrees but secretly takes a pill before leaving. But Ethan surprises the scene.
