Telematin – Julie Ferrez: "I had the opportunity to train President Sarkozy at the Élysée."

It’s been twelve years since the sports coach offered tonic and lively awakenings to his weekend audience. More than a profession, a passion! Maintenance.

Is your column’s goal to get everyone back to sports?

Julie Ferrez: Yes, but only those who want it! There is no order in my vocabulary such as “must”, “must” or “summer size”. Regardless of the size of your pants, the idea is to stay fit according to everyone’s abilities. Accessible movements and muscle treatments for minor ailments, that’s what I offer the audience. All this in complete safety!

How do you transition from gym to TV sets?

I attended a sports college in Lyon and arrived in Paris in 2003, at the age of 21, where I started as a fitness manager at the Ritz. Then I created my online coaching site. After dealing with Karen Mulder and Carla Bruni, I had the opportunity to train President Sarkozy at the Élysée. Word of mouth until William Leymergie and Télématin then took action.

It’s like you just released an album…

The aim is to accompany users during their sessions, whether outdoors or not, without their eyes glued to the screen. Playlists are developed according to the movements to be made. In terms of music, we move from house to techno, mostly to Latin melodies. Going from one universe to another? He actually looks like me!
