Jonathan Bennett, the Mean girls Heartthrob and star of Hallmark Channel’s Christmas House series will make his Broadway debut when he takes on the role Lots of spam“Sir Robin” by Michael Urie on January 23rd.
As previously announced, Urie (along with Sutton Foster) is starring in Encores in New York City Center! production of Once upon a time there was a mattress. Urie, who received criticism for his very funny performance Lots of spam will make his final appearance again in this revival on January 21; Once upon a time there was a mattress runs from 24 January to 4 February.
Bennett’s limited involvement Lots of spam runs from 23 January to 28 April. He is another high-profile replacement on the show: BeetlejuiceAlex Brightman’s Alex Brightman will, as previously announced, take on the role of Sir Lancelot after Taran Killam ends his limited engagement on January 7th.
Continuation of theirs Lots of spam Original cast includes Christopher Fitzgerald, James Monroe Iglehart, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, Ethan Slater, Jimmy Smagula and Nik Walker.
Lots of spam opens November 16 at the St. James Theater on Broadway.
