Tiffany Haddish jokes about answering her prayers for a man with a job, preferably in uniform, after she was arrested for drunk driving in Beverly Hills

Tiffany Haddish opened up about her DUI incident on Friday during a comedy show held at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, California.

Hours after the arrest, Haddish appeared at the club and talked about her arrest that morning in Beverly Hills. She was reportedly found behind the wheel with the car’s engine still running.

Audio recordings obtained by TMZ show a bystander asking about her arrest.

“What happened last night?” Haddish said. “Damn. you tell me I don’t know that.

Then she joked: “I prayed to God to send me a man with a job, preferably in uniform.”

“God answered my prayers,” she said. “Because God believes in me.”

Haddish has made a similar joke in the past.

She made one The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Lawsuit after her DUI arrest in 2022 in Georgia.

“I can say this, Jimmy… I prayed to God to send me a new husband. A good man. And God went ahead and sent me four…in uniform,” Haddish told Fallon.

“And now I have a very good lawyer, and we will work it out together. “I must ask God for my things a little better!”
