Roland Garros made a big comeback in 2021 with a turmoil occurring at various levels in the organization. Especially at the spread level of the Paris Grand Slam. While France Télévisions has broadcast the event in the past, the audiovisual group has seen another actor arrive: Amazon. As of now, France TV and Amazon Prime Video are sharing reruns of Roland Garros matches, and that’s the case for this 2022 edition as well.
Alongside the change in media, there was also an improvement in the fixture schedule of the tournament. From now on, Major Porte d’Auteuil organizes night sessions every day. These night sessions therefore take place every evening from 20:30 and are preceded by visual and auditory entertainment. It is therefore a tournament that has been modernized and seeks to present more shows to viewers and television viewers than ever before. The 10-night sessions are broadcast live and exclusively by Prime Video. We’ll see the best posters of the day in these nightly sessions on Prime Video. Players like Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Iga Swiatek can join these nightly sessions on Prime Video.

Roland Garros: The main video to follow the night sessions live
The Amazon device is the same as it was at Roland Garros last year. There are two match salvos broadcast on Prime Video. As already mentioned, the nightly sessions are on Prime Video. They count as number ten in two weeks in Paris. From Monday, May 23 to Wednesday, June 1, a nightly Prime Video session per day, the media present these meetings live and privately. Meetings are also held on Prime Video apart from night sessions. Therefore, the platform, whose rights are still owned by Prime Video, broadcasts all the meetings that took place in court no. 3, which was recently Simonne Mathieu court.
In these Roland Garros games broadcast exclusively on Prime Video, we find the two quarter-finals for ladies and gentlemen in the nighttime sessions on Prime Video on Tuesday, May 31 and Wednesday, June 1, evenings. The singles and doubles men’s and women’s semi-finals and finals, as well as the mixed doubles final, will be broadcast later on with France TV. On the microphone of this Roland Garros 2022 we see Guy Forget, Thibault le Rol, Clémentine Sarlat and especially Virginie Sainsily.
